Tony (A.V.) Madureira Tony (A.V.) Madureira, founder and President of AV Builder Corp, has been a leader in the construction industry for over 30 years. In 1981, Madureira created AV Builder Corp and continues to serve as the Project Manager for all major construction projects. What started out as a small specialized contracting company with two employees has grown over the years into a full service general contracting firm employing over 150 workers with licenses in California, Arizona, and Nevada.  In 1985, AVB entered the multi-unit reconstruction industry and in1986 expanded to perform construction defect testing and repair.  Madureira has supervised thousands of intrusive investigative tests for litigation purposes. With Madureira participating as the expert, AVB began producing construction estimates for litigation purposes in 1992. The consulting service was a natural extension of his experience in multi-unit reconstruction. The transition from producing estimates for competitive work to litigation work comprised mostly of the creation of a presentation format developed by Madureira.  Madureira remains focused and dedicated to the multi-unit reconstruction market to this day. With Madureira at the helm, AVB has successfully completed more than $2 million in building projects for various clients. At the age of 14, Madureira was working for the family residential and commercial construction business. At 18 he was made Partner and was in charge of all construction operations until the age of 21. While enrolled in the Business Management program at San Diego State University, Madureira formed Works from Wood, a sole proprietorship that specialized in spa, deck building, and home remodeling. Madureira owned, operated, and managed a full time crew from 1976-1980 while attending college.  Madureira is also the managing member of AVB Development Partners (AVBDP), a full service real estate development firm specializing in retail centers.  The partners of the firm have over 70 years of combined experience in the commercial real estate marketplace.  Madureira diversified in 1997 with the creation of AVI, LLC. Russ Levitan Russ Levitan, Senior Estimator for AV Builder Corp, has been with the company since 1991 and specializes in the quantification and cost estimation of multi-unit reconstruction projects. Russ participates in reconstruction cost estimates for both litigation and competitive bids of all sizes. Russ brings 26 years of construction experience to the industry. His diverse construction background includes experience in residential and commercial estimating and project management. Russ graduated from Muir Technical College, San Diego in 1990 with a specialization in Computerized Construction Estimating and Management Back to Top

Keith Pheifer Keith Pheifer serves as the California and Nevada Operations Manager for AV Builder Corp and AVB Mold Corp. Since his arrival at AV Builder in 1992, Keith has been instrumental in the growth of AVB’s construction defect, maintenance, and mold remediation divisions. Keith began as a Field Superintendent for construction defect litigation cases and condominium maintenance and quickly advanced to join the management team. He continues to exceed annual sales quota each year and serves as an expert witness on several construction defect cases. Prior to AV Builder Corp, Keith was employed as a Foreman for S&H Framing from 1982-1992. Keith also worked for his family bridge building company, Pheifer Bros. Construction Company in Neenah, Wisconsin from 1966-1979. Keith obtained his general contracting license in 1994 and is certified in Applied Microbial Remediation and Water Damage Restoration. He has also earned his certification in Infrared Thermal Imaging Moisture Detection. Josh Cazares Josh Cazares is the Arizona Operations Manager for AV Builder Corp and AVB Mold Corp. In 1994, Josh started as a laborer and has trained experience in every aspect of the industry. He was promoted to Foreman and quickly excelled to Superintendent. In 2003, Josh relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona and currently manages the daily operations of AV Builder’s construction defect, maintenance, and mold remediation divisions.
